Lyre's Dry London Spirit. Helping psychopaths maintain a clear head since 2019.

It seems there's no shame in being a psychopath. In fact, it's right on trend.

You may have already heard the results of those important studies conducted by some boffins at University of Innsbruck in Austria with too much time and money at their disposal.

These lab coats asked close to 1000 Americans to complete a questionnaire about their taste preferences and personality attributes such as psychopathy, narcissism, and "everyday sadism".

Delivering their findings, the learned researchers said: "The results of both studies confirmed the hypothesis that bitter taste preferences are positively associated with malevolent personality traits, with the most robust relation to everyday sadism and psychopathy."

TLDR: If you enjoy bitter flavors then you are more likely to be a psychopath.

Bitterness is the cornerstone of a gin & tonic, which is undoubtedly the 'it' drink of 2020.

This being the case, we at Lyre's have been having some very interesting debates.

What was Patrick Bateman's preferred G&T garnish? Was Misery's Annie Wilkes amenable to a 'new world' gin, or was she strictly a Dry Gin kinda girl? Did Psycho's Norman Bates imbibe from a tumbler or highball?

But mostly, we considered whether the alcohol they consumed may have affected their ability to excel at what they love doing most (i.e. torturing and slaying folk).

Perhaps these psychopaths could have been more effective in their jobs, had they swapped gin for a Lyre's Non-Alcoholic Dry London Spirit in their G&Ts.

The critics say it tastes just like the real thing, with the same bitter kick long coveted for generations by disturbed individuals, be they psychopaths or just your garden variety sadists.

And with 95 per cent less calories than gin, Lyre’s non-alcoholic Dry London Spirit is now the preloading tipple of choice for modern psychopaths; those who recognise the importance of being in peak condition*.
