Tasting notes
A classic London dry character
Made to behave the way you want a gin to behave in a long drink or a short one: bright, aromatic and confident enough to hold its own beside a good mixer. Here is what to look for when you pour.
Nose
Fresh juniper and crisp citrus peel, with a gentle herbal lift.
Palate
A dry, clean finish with piney juniper at the centre and zesty citrus around it.
Finish
Dry and gently warming, with lingering pepperberry spice.
Simple serves
Three ways to pour tonight
The elevated G&T
Pour 1.5 oz of Gin Alternative over ice. Top with 4 oz tonic, add a slice of citrus and give the rosemary a light slap between your palms to wake up the aroma. Tuck the rosemary in and serve.

The Pink Gin Fizz
Gently press a few mint leaves into the base of a glass. Add ice, 1 oz Gin Alternative, 1 oz Italian Orange and a squeeze of citrus and stir. Top with 3 oz elderflower tonic and garnish with a citrus slices.

Tom Collins
Add 2 oz Gin Alternative, 0.5 oz sugar syrup, 1 oz lemon juice and 2 oz soda water to a glass, stir and fill with ice. Garnish with a lemon slice.

Ratio guide
Get the balance right every time
Good cocktails come down to proportion. Use these ratios as your starting point, then adjust to taste.
Long and tall
1 part Gin Alternative to 2 parts mixer. Start here with tonic, soda or ginger ale. Add more mixer a little at a time if you prefer a lighter serve.
Citrus and sparkling
2 parts Gin Alternative to 1 part citrus to 0.5 part sugar syrup, finished with soda. An easy foundation for a Collins. Taste before topping up and adjust the syrup to balance the lemon.
Bold and Bittersweet
Equal parts Gin Alternative, Italian Orange and Vermouth Alternative. The starting point for a non-alcoholic Negroni. Stir with ice to chill and gently dilute.
Mixer pairings
What goes with Gin Alternative

- Mediterranean tonic: a softer, aromatic option. Try a lemon wheel and a small rosemary sprig.
- Soda water: a light, dry serve that keeps the botanicals centre stage. Add a twist of citrus.
- Elderflower tonic: floral sweetness for an elegant long drink. Garnish with cucumber.
- Ginger ale: gentle spice with a little sweetness. Add a squeeze of fresh lime.
- Ginger beer: a bolder, spicier option for a mule-inspired serve. Finish with lime and mint.
- Bitter lemon: bright citrus and a bittersweet edge. Serve over plenty of ice.
