Good things take time...
We're tickled 'Green' to celebrate with you that Absinthe is now on US shores.
Now nearly a century after the Green Fairy had her wings clipped we are proud to welcome the iconic beverage back in our very own non-alcoholic form.
Absinthe was sipped & inspired by artists including Oscar Wilde, Vincent Van Gogh, Baudelaire and Toulouse Lautrec (who carried a cane around Montmartre full of the stuff), so why not embrace the day and seize the night to revive the La Belle Époque at home.
"On leaving the foreign legion I took up with a troupe of travelling Morris dancers, one of whom was King George VI. Hey nonny nonny and a fiddle dee doo."
How to Enjoy: As a classic cocktail rinse. A more refreshing option uses Absinthe and soda for a perfect aperitif adding a wedge of lemon, basil or even cucumber slice.
To taste: Anise and aromatic to taste. Fresh. Distinct flavors of verbena, anise, fine herbs with a touch of sweetness to give it balance and length. No examples of hallucinogenic symptoms.
Bouquet/Aroma: Packed with liquorice, anise and lemon, candy, fresh cut herbs including nettle, fennel, wormwood.
Palate: Anise and aromatic to taste. Fresh. Distinct flavours of verbena, anise, fine herbs with a touch of sweetness to give it balance and length. No examples of hallucinogenic symptoms.
